What Makes People Happy: Love or Money
You can look up "love" in the Merriam-Webster and a definition will appear, but, really, there's no one-way to define it. The greatest part about love is that we can create our own definition. I have my own definition of love. Love, a four-letter word, is easy when you find the right guy. Seriously, if your relationship is full of agony, then maybe you didn’t have the right guy. And what is money? Money is a medium of exchange. Money is material thing. Money makes the world go around. if you are madly in love with your partner but you have no food to eat. What are you going to do? Beg for food or walk into a grocery shop and buy food with love? The answer is no. Love can’t pay your food, money is.
Love and money are two different things from one another, which can never be compared, one’s provides financial security and other’s provides emotional security. Both have different values in our life. Love is the reason you live and money is needed to live. What can I say? I've been married for seven years and ten years of having a relationship with the same person. For me, love is money is when you are married. Money here played an important role in marriage, you gotta feed your child(ren), pay bills, go on vacation, go shopping, etc. When you have money, then at least you will have one less problem. Money is needed in order to survive. Money is a security, a peace of mind. But money isn't everything. Love involves feeling. A famous quote that says money can't buy happiness is true, for some people at least. Take example the well-known couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, both are beautiful, renowned celebrities, popular, and of course they are rich, but divorce was inevitable. They said that there weren't sparks anymore. I learned the hard way that love could eventually run out if you can’t maintain it despite being initially madly in love with each other.
In a nutshell, love is important. Don't ever think it's’ not. But don't ever think it is possible to survive in this world without money. Both are dependent upon on one another. And also we can't compare both these, if one is life then other is necessary for life. What’s more important above all is happiness. Happiness is a choice, nothing wrong with choosing money before love if that’s made you happy. Also, choosing emotional security is not wrong so you choose love before money. The choice is made based on what’s more important to you and what’s made you happy.
