The Impact Of Alcohol On Relationships
In today’s society, there tends to be more use of alcohol, and a lot of it tends to be teens. The use of alcohol also tends to break apart relationships. Alcohol is one of the biggest addictions in the world today. Alcohol doesn’t just affect a person’s life, it also impacts every relationship they have. Alcohol can be enjoyed responsibly, but people tend to get carried away, and they do not know their limit.
Alcoholism and alcohol abuse have the power to completely ruin a marriage and place tension between family members. People who overdrink may cause problems because they are not considering the budget of their family, cause fights, or are ignoring their children. Every one of these things damage the wellbeing of the ones they love the most. Drinking affects your body from the first sip you take. People who have occasional drinks and drink responsibility are ok, but drinking heavily takes a toll on your body. Alcohol affects the way your brain works and looks, it also affects your behavior and mood. Your heart is also impacted when you drink, this can be too much at one time or over a long period of time, you could end up with an irregular heartbeat, have a stroke, and even more. Drinking affects every part of your body.
I experienced a friend who had a negative experience involving alcohol. My friend was on vacation and was having some drinks with friends, but she was leaving her friends and drinking more on her own. Later has the night went on she went out with her friends and she got off a bus because she felt like she was going to get sick, and when she got off the bus she laid on the sidewalk. When she laid on the sidewalk, she began to vomit and then she passed out. Her friends, then had to call the ambulance to take her to the hospital, where she was treated for alcohol poison.
If the friends she was with did not call the ambulance, this situation could have ended a lot worse. If someone you are with has negative effects of alcohol, the first thing you should do is call the ambulance and get them to a hospital. Your friend is going to be grateful that you called, and possibly saved their life, and that will make them get over any trouble they may get in, if they are underage. Alcohol poisoning is a very serious issue, it can it even be deadly. This happens when someone is drinking large amounts of alcohol in a very short time. If you drink to quick you can affect your body functions.
Alcohol poisoning can also occur when someone intentionally or accidentally drinks anything that contains alcohol. It is a very serious, and it needs to be taken seriously, and you need to know when to call an ambulance or when to see a doctor. You should always be aware when you are somewhere when alcohol is present. You never know when you need to intervene in something, or when someone needs help. You should never be afraid of calling for help, because when alcohol is present it could be a life or death situation. If you call for a friend and your friend gets into any trouble they will get over the trouble they may get it, because you possibly just saved their life.
