The Pover And Value Of Time
Time. It’s the only thing that can fly without wings. Time is not something we can change or have more of. Man cannot stop time to his will. What we can do is change the way we perceive it. The meme shows how one has managed his or her time very poorly. This is because of bad time management.
As one gets older our sense of time rushing seems to increase. This means that as we grow older our experiences become a routine and we barely notice time passing by. This is why time is precious to man. Time is among the few things that once lost can never be recovered. Most people don’t realize how precious time really is until it’s deadline day. An example, money that is lost… it can be recovered. Opportunity lost…can be replaced by another. However when time is lost it’s gone forever.
Heard of the famous phrase “time stands still for no man” it means exactly how it’s written it won’t stop for a person. I love this phrase because time does not stop for no one, rich or poor, Muslim or Christian, man or woman. Everyone on earth has 24hrs a day to either utilize it or waste it. It doesn’t wait for anybody, but it gives us equal duration to follow our own passions and dreams or waste them completely. Since time cannot be stoped to our will, we are all gifted with memory. Memory helps to capture all the amazing and embarrassing moments in our lives.
Furthermore time cannot be recreated, once it passes its gone. But what would happen if time was recreated? Any type of risks would be nonexistent. After a mistake people would just remodel their time and time travel to fix their mistakes. Time would be a standstill. There would be chaos of people trying to go back and forth to fix their mistakes. Life would therefore be worthless and people would waste it the same way we waste renewable energy. The irony of it all is that we still waste it, despite time being a very precious resource.
“The trouble is, you think you have time. ” A quote by Jack Kornfield. I perceive this quote to mean that we put off important things, assuming that we can do them later. But life is short, what happens if there isn’t a “later”. Recognizing that mankind’s time is brief on this planet, recognizing that our lives are brief on this planet, can help us appreciate life and see what the important things are.
Life is truly short. So don’t waste your time to strike for the right opportunity. Opportunities rarely appear and when they do make sure to catch a hold of it. Opportunities don’t just appear out of the blue, you have to be doing something meaningful and that is when an opportunity may arise.
Furthermore healing and time go hand-in-hand together. People say that “Time is the best medicine” and in my opinion it really is. It helps heels most of our wounds, feelings and broken hearts. It also helps to forgive a person for his mistakes.
However the truth of the matter is that there is time for everything. There is time for school, eating, sleeping, friends and family. Bad time management makes time seem scarce. There are 24hrs in a day, yet there are some people who are busier than us yet still find the balance to a happy life. There is time for to enjoy the best of life with your loved ones.
Our activities should be well planned so that we can save as much time as possible. There is no room for idleness and indecisions. People who are idlers are great enemies of mankind. Delays are the thieves of time. When delays occur, it stops people from spending the time that they have to be productive.
To conclude, there is a popular saying, “the past is dead and the future is unborn. ” There are no tomorrows and there are no yesterdays. It is “today” which is important. Time is very powerful and precious. It has more power than man itself. So, to have a meaningful and balanced life, time should be planned wisely to accommodate all areas of our life, because time wasted can never be recovered.
