The Role Of Education In The Future Success

Education is the key to success. According to John Taylor Gatto in the article “Against School” discusses his journey of how he became successful, talk about how bored he was in school and it takes as his responsibility. It was his responsibility to be successful and achieve his goals. According to “The Hechinger report” about 78. 5 percent in 2011 and 80. 8 percent in 2016 return to college that includes public, private not-for-profit and private for -profit. The education system present young people to be successful by teaching them to read and write. Around the 17th century, the United States did not focus on math and reading, girls were only taught how to read not write. The education system is effective in preparing young students to be successful by helping the society to be independent, and to have different perspectives. “The Intelligence Is Overrated: What You Really Need To Succeed” by Albert Einstein talks about success in life and business. It points out that there are factors equally important about intelligence. There are three intelligences: emotional, moral, and body. Most of the time our intelligence plays a big part in our life by making us feel sad, and angry. Intelligence plays a great role on being successful after highschool. Focused on one mindset by telling them how to handle certain situations and how to do work related to school.

As stated in the article “Intelligence Is Overrated: what You Really Need To Know” Keld Jensen stated that research carried out by the carnegie institute of technology shows that 86 percent of your financial success is due to skills in “human engineering,'' your personality and ability to communicate, negotiate, and lead. “It doesn’t matter if you did not receive the best academic training from a top university. A person with less education who has fully developed their EQ, MQ, and BQ can be far more successful than a person with an impressive education who falls short in these other categories”. Reveal that having a high intelligence score means nothing to society if you do not have the proper emotional, body, and moral skills to help you in the society. Being smart is very important but also emotional, body, and moral intelligence are important as well. This relates to the education system by making he or she feel motivated. “I Just Wanna Be Average' by Mike Rose tells the story about some of his experiences throughout high school. When he was a freshman he accidentally got placed into the vocational program. Instead of getting in a fight, he avoided everything. He goes into detail describing specific events and different people he met. It leads him to think about how much educational environment matters. For example, “students will float to the mark you set. I and others in the vocational classes were bobbing in pretty shallow water… us kids who were scutting along at the bottom of the pond”. In the quote Rose describes that people gives readers a chance to see that students can be successful, under the first impression, are unmotivated but they are not. Teachers can sometimes be annoying, that the teachers make issues of their own and make the reader questions and the competence of some of these faculty members. Rose states in his essay,”Reject the confusion and frustration and I just wanna be average”.

This quote stuck in his head all these years. He like most dropouts, was not motivated, and his attitude later changes and he started challenging himself when he meets his highschool teacher, therefore all the obstacles young people goes through in highschool they literally push themselves to be successful, get a good paying job. The Education system makes you, determined, and independent. The learner and the teacher work together to create a curriculum that fits the students and the teachers. In addition, the social class and the Hidden curriculum of work by Jean (Anyon) talks about middle and upper class; how they are professionals. It discusses that children of working class are developing a potential conflict. The present school work is appropriate for future employment that is mechanical and routine, who also learned to be resistant. Scholars in political economy and the sociology of knowledge suggest that there is a hidden curriculum in schoolwork that has profound implications for the the theory - and consequence - of everyday activity. These differences may not only contribute to the development of the children in each social class of certain types of economically significant relationships and not others, but would thereby help to reproduce this system of relations in society. In the contribution to the reproduction of unequal social relations lies a theoretical meaning and social consequence of classroom practice. ' These opening paragraphs basically state that education is different depending on social class and although many people possess this opinion few have done anything to change it. Curriculum practiced in classrooms has on the world as a whole. Each classroom tries to accommodate the needs that the students will possess in the future.

Therefore, the teachers assume that they will end up in the same situation that their parents are in and teach to those specifications. However, by doing this teachers ultimately are just hurting the children. Having technology in school helps students in preparing them to be successful, having the ability to read and take required courses, helping them grow the confidence to practice those skills. The school system is effective in preparing young people to be successful because it nourishes people brain by becoming problem solvers.
