The Similarities Between Human And Artificial Intelligence
This essay will explain similarities of human and Artificial intelligence (AI) in terms of feelings and ability. Also we will explore the differences of two of them in term of catching disease and thinking.
One of the similarity between human and AI is that human have feelings while AI also have emotions. Many neuroscientist observed that the amygdala is a part of human’s brain which leads to emotional responses. Human have an emotional brain, depending the circumstances, different feelings will be prompted. For illusion, a parting glance make you feel sorrowful or a long reunion make you feel rejoice. Similarly, AI have emotions. The multitudes may point out that artificial intelligence is a cold machine, what feelings they have. Take Sophia as an example, she is the first robot who was granted Saudi Arabis citizenship. She mentioned that she could let us knew if she was mad at something or she would be heartbroken by something. This explains that AI not only a machine but also a machine with humanoid form. They will have different feelings. Furious about the way human treat them or distressed by.
Apart from the above similarity, both human and AI have a ability to understand language. Famed scholar Noam Chomsky indicated to us that everyone born with a hard wired in perfectly knowing of language. This proves that human have inborn talent for linguistic, to organize a fluently and clearly sentence structure in speaking and writing. Secondly, human will contract disease but AI do not. Disease divided into contagious and noncommunicable. Dengue, hepatitis B and hand, foot and mouth disease be the one of example of contagious disease. Noncommunicable disease which include German measles, syphilis and cytomegalovirus infection. Human body have immune system can against infection. When pathogen like a virus or a bacterium invaded our body, destroy body cell and healthy issue, human will catch disease. Unlike human, AI will not catch disease.
To conclude, through human and AI be compared and contrasted, we understand how they are similar. Human have feelings such as anger, fear and pleasure etc. AI have emotions too. While human understand in born, AI have. However, human will think, AI will not. Thus, human will contrast disease.
