The Teacher serves a great job at university in making all students be productive in society. A Teacher guides students always on the right path while they are studying at university as well as make them able to make good decisions. He leads students to make them fit mentally, socially and intellectually. He is like a common people who are from between us but they chose to do an unusual job of teaching to their students. A teacher plays as a guardian or surrogate parent who takes responsibility of taking care of the students at University. Because many students suffer from a lack of parental guidance at home. There are students whose parents went to work before their children wake up for school, and return home from work afternoon while they have no time for their children. It means they are absent from their children's lives. As a teacher, you may find certain students who lean on you for support and come to you for advice or to share their good news. Positive adult contact is crucial to raising well-balanced children, and teachers are often given the charge of being surrogate parents for their students. A Teacher, sometimes award his students for their great works however punish them to let them understand that they did something wrong which is bad for their life. He makes his students able to differentiate between right or wrong so that they can choose for the right one in their life by fighting with wrong.
My Teacher understands that all students do not have the same capacity to learn in the same way so he tries to let them understand in their way. A teacher considered as caretaker (caregiver) he provides selfless duty to shape someone’s life. His committed work cannot be compared to anything. He always takes care of all his students. He checks their food habits, cleanliness level, behavior to others, and concentration towards study. A teacher motivates students to take care for their parents, to behave well with them and others, to come to school at right time with proper uniform, to never tell lie to anyone in life, to react positively, to take care of school property, to take care of your books, copies, and other study material, always pray to God for better concentration on study, always discuss to your subject teacher about any confusion, do not argue with strangers and many more. Mentor (learning facilitator) serves as a thought partner for students on their academic journey and help empower students to become autonomous learners and agents of their change. They express an understanding of students’ aspirations and fears and support their success by acting as an advocate for students’ best interests. Mentoring is a natural role taken on by teachers, whether it is intentional or not. This again can have positive or negative effects on Students. Mentoring is a way a teacher encourages students to strive to be the best they can. This also includes encouraging students to enjoy learning. Part of mentoring consists of listening to students. By taking time to listen to what students say, the teacher imparts to students a sense of ownership in the classroom. This helps build their confidence and helps them want to be successful.
A teacher as a role model an example of a true professional. He always tries to show a positive image to the students and teaches students good behavior like respect, trust, and responsibility. A teacher can do this through his actions and words in the classroom, leading by example. The teacher serves as a role model to students not only when he teaches them while he performs his duties but also he fulfills his job as a teacher. The teacher does not think of himself as a role model, however, Students spend a great deal of time with their teacher and therefore, the teacher becomes a role model to them. This can be a positive or negative effect depending on the teacher. The teacher is there not only to teach the students, but also to love and care for them. The teacher is highly respected by people in the community and therefore become a role model for students and parents. A teacher is the best friend of his students who help them in deciding the true path in their life. There are many teachers in any school or college but only one of them becomes the favorite of many students. Teachers set our goals of education through their collective roles of unique teaching and learning process. Our teachers motivate us to work always in harmony. Our teachers understand the problems of us and deal with us in both ways personally and professionally. They teach us to have a positive attitude towards life.
Conclusion
In conclusion to teacher as a role model essay, the multi-tasking of a teacher serves to the students at university makes him a nobleman in the sight of the people in the community and the sight of God because his great effort is unmeasurable and nobody can do his job and by this, he became incomparable to all.
