Evaluation Of The Need Of Europeans For Burgers

Burger with a large fries and extra cheese please. The recent and surprising recent trend that have become more prominent in Europe is the emeregnc3e of the undeniable need of Europeans for burgers. It is considered quite surprise since European trends in the past have been associated with new trends such as fried mars bars in the UK for example or other examples included the cronuts in the states. However, as trends come and go this one specifically has been on an increase for quite some time now. While it’s important to follow trends, it would appear to be redundant conducting research I was able to find that Europeans are actually in want of this newest trend which is burgers.

Research from various sites have showed us that comparable to other f&b industries burgers have seen a persistent increase over time. That being said, among the main trends in this industry are would be considered in Europe is the UK and Germany, reason being that they ranked highest when asked what genre of food was needed more of 24% & 22% respectively. (Holmes, 2017) based on these statistics it would be clear to the individual thinking of investing a burger joint in those two countries. The potential for its success could be linked to the trend that they wanted exactly what the consumer is demanding. As the law of economics goes the higher the demand the lower the price which would deem successful if the company was to think about entering the market to supply the high levels of demand. Another point to consider as well is the fact that there is clearly a gap in the market which is relatable to the trend that has been on rise for several years now. With a gap in the market a mentioned in the research article found that the UK found nearly 100% increase in burger trends and demands for British population. (Holmes,2017) with that being said, its important to note that by having a gap in the market this would mean two things for the business.

Firstly, it would mean less marketing material is needed to attract customers. Secondly, competition will be low due to lack of suppliers to the consumers needs. Overall it is important to note that the trend in Europe of burger has been a trend on the rise for some years now and investment in this specific f&b industry would deem successful based on research.
