As I reflect on my life and experiences, I have come to realize that achievement is a subjective term that can hold different meanings for each individual. It took me a while to understand that my accomplishments might not be significant to others, and that's okay. However, I want to share my story about my greatest achievement in life in this essay, to shed light on what I consider my biggest accomplishment and how it has shaped my perspective on success.
Past two years of high school has been very important for me as I have learned and accomplished many things from personal to academic level and I am extremely proud of some of these achievements. I had always been an average student without high ambitions, but after first year of vocational electrical engineering program, I realized that I wanted to work on the field of electricity and energy. Finding that purpose and my internship has been two of the most important achievements for me so far.
Once I knew what I wanted to do in the future, I was able to rise my GPA from around 2.8 to 3.84 in my 10th board. I started off my 9th grade with not the best mindset. I was very unmotivated, and I spent most of my time playing video games. My parents had just gotten a divorce and I had to move in with my aunt, I was anxious about the new environment and I did not have any ambitions. That lead me to become a terrible student, neither my classmates nor my teachers thought that I was a talented child with a bright future. I was always discouraged that coming from government school and low-income family, I didn’t have many options but now looking back, I can admit that I did not try my best and that was reflected in my grades. However, after realizing my goals, I overcame my personal battles and everything went better.
My second greatest achievement is keeping my internship for one year. I consider this an achievement because I started working there when I was 17 and there have been many times when I wanted to walk out and never comeback. But I stayed back and am I am still working there as I know no matter what I do, I will run into obstacles. I realized I cannot run from all my problems whether it be the people or the job. Even though it is not the best job, I know it will help in my career and I know that I must keep pushing myself and think about the big picture in the future. I believe that if I keep this mindset that I will get the opportunity to follow my ambitions.
In conclusion to achievement essay, my achievements should be considered as an achievement as I have worked diligently. I have pushed myself and I have done something that no one along with myself considered as possible before. I overcame my obstacles and it was not easy, I spend sleepless nights, I had to juggle between classes and internships, I had to give up my comfort and I failed many times. However, I focused on my target and I accomplished the things I wanted to.
