Personal Review of the Pears Body Soap Company

Introduction

Pears Body Soap is one of the most popular soaps used in Indian households. I have been using Pears Body Soap for a decade now. It is also my family’s favourite soap. Pears is made up of glycerine and natural oils which makes the skin soft and gentle. It moisturizes my skin, removes dirt and unclogs the pores. I have sensitive skin and Pears Body Soap works wonders on my skin. It leaves my skin well-nourished and gives it an instant glow.

It is made up of pure, natural and organic ingredients which is the reason it works on every unique skin types. It works best on oily skin types. It gives my skin the right amount of moisturization. I am extremely fond of soaps which are chemical free. That is the reason I am so fond of Pears because of its gentleness over my skin. It makes my skin look younger and healthier. Pears work towards the wide range of skin problems and brings out a solution for every unique skin types.

The Brand

The production of the first Pears Soap started in 1807 by Andrew Pears in London. It is considered to be the world’s first transparent soap which is still being produced at a large scale. Pears’ production started in India from 1902 and it is still doing a great job with its century-old heritage and good deeds. Currently, it is made in India by Hindustan Unilever. Pears is one of the most trusted soap brands in India.

Appearance

Pears Body Soap comes in a cardboard packaging. The outer packaging is white in colour and the name of the brand is written in bold black. The ingredients names are listed along with the manufacturing and expiry details. The outer packaging also has the price of the product written on it. Inside the cardboard packaging, there is a transparent packet with the clear, golden glycerine enriched soap.

Ingredients

Pears Body Soap is filled with the goodness of glycerine and natural oils. It contains no harsh chemicals. It is completely a natural product. Along with that, the soap contains humectants. Humectants work like natural moisturizers. Combined with water and humectants, the Pears Soap provides proper hydration to the skin. It also contains sodium cocoate which is a common ingredient for soap making. With that, the soap also consists of natural rosin and rosemary which is the reason for the mild fragrance and the removal of oils from the skin by working as an antioxidant.

Directions to Use

Using the Pears Body Soap is quite simple. You have to rub the soap very gently over your wet body. It forms lathers instantly and you can smell the beautiful aroma of the soap all over your body. To be honest, Pears Body Soap is an expensive product. The cost of one 75 gram of soap will cost you Rs 40 only. The 125-gram one is available for Rs 67.

Overall, my experience with Pears has been more than great. I belong to a proud Pears family. I was suffering from severe acne problems when my mother took me to a dermatologist. After advising me on my diet plans and giving me the necessary medicines, the doctor suggested me to use Pears Body Soap on a regular basis. Since then, I have been using Pears only. I am immensely happy with the product. It made my skin healthier, more hydrating and more gentle. My acne started to reduce with every single use. The results were clearly noticeable. Pears let my skin breathe, it makes my skin alive. With pears, I do not have to worry about skin rashes any more. Pears has given me a brand new skin.
