Stress & Ways To Get Out Of It
Excess of work in the office- stress, no job- stress, unable to fulfil desires- stress, relationship breakup- stress, inability to find a good relationship- stress, emotional breakdowns- stress, it is just stress all around. With an increasing trend of being stressed, it seems more as though we are just finding new ways for ourselves to cause mental agony and feel bad for it. Stress can be good news on the condition that it is well within the limits (There has to be a perfect balance, neither too less nor too much). Confused? Let’s get to the beginning.
What is stress? Stress is body’s response to any danger. During this physical response, it secretes chemicals such as the adrenaline. It also leads to increase in sugar level in the blood, isn’t that good? Don’t we feel our heart beat rate increasing, a sudden boost of energy that helps us get away from the situation? The problem lies here. A little bit of stress is good for our body but when it increases, it not only destroys the working of our body but also leads to other symptoms that could further aggravate the condition of our body, like: Depression, anxiety, fear, headaches etc., all of which could suppress our digestive system, increase sugar levels alarmingly, lead to sleeplessness and a long list of problems everything connected to each other.
Would anyone want to play with their health just for stress? Looking at what stress can do apart from disrupting our health conditions, by impairing our concentration, it does not let us do our jobs well. Definitely, many a times, we have faced situations where our loved ones ask for something, we reply for something else; they seek for some help but because of our preoccupied minds, we angrily deny them. Then comes the emotional part of, “Why am I like this?”, “I must change” and the next day, we are back on our track of stress. It is definitely easy to say and difficult to get rid of but not to forget that everything is possible. To get rid of anything we must first think of the lives we care for, the people who are dependent on us. Just like we would not miss any of the special moments of our loved ones for the world, we shouldn’t even give our fragile and emotion-filled mind the chance of taking our control. Having healthy habits is one way to get out of stress.
Wouldn’t it be a happy life where we have satisfied our boss by completing the project on time? Seeing our loved ones happy every day we reach home and letting them know that you are happy and have time to spend with them? It requires just deep breathes and calm mind, healthy food and good habits, active life and a focused mind, happy following hobbies and feeling grateful on seeing the ones less privileged than us but still always meandering around with smile. Remember, the remedy to any situation isn’t to wail and curse it; but we must try to keep our nerves calm and find a way out of that gloom without letting the situation causing us any pain.
