Healthy living is choosing the correct way to live. By this it means the best way possible to be healthy throughout your everyday lives. Diet, exercise, and overall health play a part in healthy living. Blood glucose is the the glucose in the blood or known as blood sugar which when regulated is great for healthy living. Glucose is a simple sugar, or a monosaccharide that comes from the foods we eat which is also found and stored in the body. Glucose is the most important source of energy for living cells in the body. Glucose is carried to each and every cell in the bloodstream to give energy to all cells in the body. Basically, glucose is the body's source of energy. As blood sugar levels rise, the pancreas gives off a hormone called insulin, which allows glucose to be utilized by cells through the body. Blood glucose has a major impact on the body when the blood sugar levels are too high or are too low. Normal blood sugar levels are less than 100 mg/dL after not eating for at least eight hours health care professionals call this fasting. And they're less than 140 mg/dL two hours after eating. When blood sugar is below the normal range of at least 80 mg/dL it is called hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia can cause a person to become fatigue, anxiety, sweating, irritability, unconsciousness, problems inside the central nervous system, and even death. When blood sugar levels are too low the cells get hungry for energy. When you have hyperglycemia or diabetes, your blood sugar levels may be consistently high. Over time, this can damage your body and lead to many other problems. Diabetes even affects the person who suffers from the disease skin, vision, organs, etc.

Weight training is also a part of healthy living it is a type of strength training that uses weights for resistance. Weight training gives a stress to the muscles that causes them to adapt and get stronger. Weight training affects the body in different ways such as making a person stronger and fitter, protecting bone health and muscle mass, boosting energy levels and improving mood, and much more. Weight training makes the body stronger and fitter by strengthening and toning your muscles by contracting them against a resisting force. It protects bone health and muscle mass from a study shown that just 30 minutes twice a week of high intensity resistance and impact training was shown to improve functional performance, as well as bone density, structure, and strength in postmenopausal women with low bone mass — and it had no negative effects. Also increasing endorphins in the brain that lift your energy levels and will have you in a better mood. Different types of weight training include isometric resistance and isotonic strength training. Isometric resistance involves contracting your muscles against a nonmoving object. Isotonic strength training involves contracting your muscles through a range of motion as in weight lifting.

Vegan is a type of diet that is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, dairy products and all other ingredients that may come from animals this plays a part in a healthy diet. Many vegans also don't eat foods that are processed using animal products. Vegan diets are naturally low in saturated and trans fats, reducing your risk of developing heart disease and other complications. Vegan diets limit some of the nutrients the body needs on a daily basis and affect the system's ability to absorb nutrients efficiently. This type of diet may cause weight loss by eating fruits, vegetables, and other plant foods that are low in calories. It also can cause digestive issues due to the large intake of fiber. Plant-based vitamins and minerals are not as easy for the body to absorb as nutrients from animal foods. Your body absorbs as much as 35 percent of iron originating from animal sources, which is called heme iron. Plant-based iron, which is called non-heme iron, has poor bioavailability. Your system only absorbs 2 to 20 percent of the nonheme iron you get from spinach, soybeans, lentils, and beans.

The difference between a vegan and omnivore is that an omnivore is a human that eats meats and plants. Trans fats and saturated fats that are in some meats and dairy products can cause high cholesterol levels and lead to possible heart problems. Vegetable-rich diets offer antioxidants and other health benefits, and "good" vegetable fats like olive oil can help protect the heart and the body in general.

An H2O diet is a diet that only involves drinking water. Drinking water only helps maintain the balance of body fluids. Your body is composed of approximately 60% water. The functions of these bodily fluids include digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature. Drinking water only can help control calories by substituting it for another drink high in calories. Also, water helps energize muscles. Cells that don't maintain their balance of fluids and electrolytes shrivel, which can the make the muscles fatigue. "When muscle cells don't have adequate fluids, they don't work as well and performance can suffer, " says Guest.
