Walking and Healthy Food Is About Healthy Body - Essay
Being healthy is not just about physically working out, but it is more of a mindset. In order to truly start to becoming a healthier version of yourself, you must not only work on the outside, but also the inside. Food, is one of the few things that can bring everyone together. It is very beneficial for survival. My focus areas during this project were Body Fat, Walking, Fruits and Vegetables and Water only. These four combined to myself seemed like some of the best ways for maintaining a healthy body. This is healthy body essay in which this topic will be considered
In order to have a healthy body it is a must to have a healthy weight. Body Fat is very different from person to person. Throughout the body there are many types of ways that fat is stored in men and women. One type of fat is called Brown Fat. Brown fat which may also be known as “good fat” is a fat that can turn calories into body heat. Newborns are known to having higher levels of Brown fat than anyone else. The older a person gets the less Brown Fat they have. An individual who is overweight will also have less Brown Fat than someone who is underweight. Brown Fat may be the reason for keeping people lean. People with higher levels of Brown Fat actually take longer to start shivering when cold; which is why newborns never shiver when they are cold. White Fat is another fat that stores energy and produces hormones which enters the bloodstream. This fat produces our estrogen and Leptin which regulates our hunger and appetite. Overtime too much of this fat in the body can lead to becoming overweight. White Fat for women can be found in the hips, breasts, buttocks, and thighs. In men most of their fat goes straight to their stomach. Belly fat is one of the worst places to have excess fat. Too much white fat near the stomach area can increase your risk for cancer, diabetes, or heart disease. All of the extra white fat comes from consuming too many calories and not working off the extra. In order to keep excess weight off and to maintain a healthy weight walking is a great start for burning extra calories.
By walking you are eliminating your risks for heart disease, cancers, diabetes, etc. Even though running is also another great way to shed the pounds in the long run can be very damaging. “ After 60 minutes of intense physical activity, like running, the chambers of your heart begin to stretch and overwhelm the muscle’s ability to adapt”. When starting to walk it can also boost your immune system, so overtime you’ll notice yourself becoming less sick around cold and flu season.
Increasing fruits and vegetables is a great start for eating healthy. The natural sweetness in the fruit can help fill the cravings for unhealthy candy or snacks. “ The American Heart Association recommends filling at least half your plate with fruits and veggies in order to make it to the recommended 4 ½ cups each per day.
To conclude, walking is a better and much safer way when trying to lose weight. Just by walking for 30 minutes it improves your muscles, melts away excess body fat and can make your bones stronger. Walking is one of the simplest exercising techniques that doesn't require any equipment or money. Walking now and in the long run is great for the body all around. Eating healthy is the biggest and most important when creating a healthy version of you.
